 7th meeting of the Korean-Danish Green Growth Alliance held in Copenhagen

The meeting was hosted by the Danish Minister for Environment and Food, H.E. Esben Lunde Larsen. In attending was the Korean Minister of Environment, H.E. Kim Eun Kyung

The focus of the 2017 Korean-Danish Green Growth Alliance roundtable meeting was circular economy and how this can be a driver for growth and sustainable development.
The main agendas included the role of the state in accelerating the transition towards a circular economy and the role of companies in leading the transition and contributing to the SDGs.

Attending the meeting from Korea were various key actors in the environmental sector, including the Ministry of Environment, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Korean Environmental Industry & Technology Institute, the Korea Environment Corporation, as well as companies in the clean tech sector.

The Danish participants included the Danish Ministry of Environment and Food, the Ministry of Industry, Business and Financial Affairs, State of Green, as well as private companies and the Confederation of Danish Industry.
