19.12.2017  09:13

The festival is a winter sports event for foreigners living in Korea first held in 1983, aimed at developing the local ski culture as well as promoting good fellowship among foreign residents stationed in Korea.
The event takes pride in being the nation’s only international ski-festival, with approximately 300 participants from 25 different countries taking part every year. The ski competitions include alpine skiing and snowboarding. The event is followed by a gala party that includes a medal presentation ceremony, a national table decoration competition, and various other cultural events.

With the slogan ‘Endless Friendship,’ the festival will promote greater fellowship by bringing families of all nationalities together and build everlasting friendships. The Danish Ambassador H.E. Thomas Lehmann, serves as chairman of the festival committee this year.
