The Carlsberg Group seeks to eliminate carbon emissions at its breweries by halving water usage by 2030 and shifting towards the exclusive use of renewable electricity by 2022.

Under the tag line, ‘Together Towards ZERO’, Carlsberg seeks to address the increasing consumer demands for sustainable products in a time of global climate challenges.

The program consists of four goals: Zero carbon footprint, zero water waste, zero irresponsible drinking and a zero accidents culture. Thereby Carlsberg hopes to contribute with delivering on the goals set out with the UN SDGs and the Paris Agreement on climate change.

“The world needs leadership, which is why we’ve made it a top priority to improve the world of tomorrow in support of UN Sustainable Development Goals”, says Cees ‘t Hart, CEO of the Carlsberg Group.
