Danish Minister of Business brings Danish high end design to live in Seoul

23.02.2018  06:09

Yesterday, Danish minister of Business, Mr. Brian Mikkelsen, opened a new exhibition, 'Denmark Atmosphere', which will display high end Danish Design from February 21 to February 25 at the ODE Maison in Sinsa-dong, Seoul.

Organised by the Danish Embassy in Seoul, 'Denmark Atmosphere' is a special exhibition showcasing the high-end lifestyle design of Denmark. The exhibition is held from February 21st to February 25th at the ODE Maison in Sinsa-dong, Seoul.

The exhibition is the result of a special collaboration between the embassy and ODE, a Korean lifestyle retail brand specializing in high-end audio systems. ‘Denmark Atmosphere aims to showcase the high-end lifestyle design of Denmark through three state of the art Danish brands: Nicolai Bergmann Flowers&Design, launched by the eponymous Danish flower artist; Royal Copenhagen, the ceramic brand used by the Danish monarchy with 243 years of history; and Steinway Lyngdorf, the Danish high-end audio brand. Denmark Atmosphere’ was opened by the Danish Minister for Business yesterday, and will this coming weekend introduce high-end Danish brands to the Korean consumers.

At Denmark Atmosphere, Nicolai Bergmann Flowers&Design showcases an intricate style of floral arrangement and displays with a distinct modern, Nordic touch unique to the brand. The brand first launched in Korea 2015 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Seoul, adding a beautiful touch to the hotel lobby, event spaces, and other venues – including the floral shop within the hotel.

Royal Copenhagen, the ceramic brand used by the Danish monarchy with 243 years of history, contributes to Denmark Atmosphere with its exhibition titled, 'A Royal Treasure, Flora Danica'. The Flora Danica is the most premium among their line of products and is lauded by design enthusiasts as Denmark's national treasure. With the brand slogan of 'Everyday Luxury', Royal Copenhagen provides consumers the opportunity to experience the value of luxury that transcends trends and time in their everyday life.

A collaboration between Danish audio specialist Peter Lyngdorf and the 164-year-old piano brand Steinway & Suns, Steinway Lyngdorf will be unveiling their latest 'Steinway Lyngdorf – Model B' line at this exhibition. Not only that, they will be also showcasing their 'Atmosphere' speakers designed in collaboration with ODE and manufactured in Denmark.
