Danish Defense Attaché appointed to Seoul

In the first week of June the newly appointed Danish defense attaché, Brigadier Carsten Rasmussen, made a successful accreditation visit to Seoul.


From 5-8 June 2018 defense attaché to Seoul, Brigadier Carsten Rasmussen, made a succesful accreditation visit to Seoul. The appointment of a defense attaché to Seoul underlines the Danish commitment to further strengthening the strategic partnership between Denmark and Korea and the Danish engagement and contribution to the United Nations Command. Brigadier Carsten Rasmussen is side-accredited to Seoul and is based in Beijing.


During his visit the defense attaché met with Korean ministerial as well as military partners, including the two Danish officers who are currently serving at the United Nations Military Armistice Commission, monitoring the compliance of the armistice in the Demilitarized Zone. Defense Attaché Brigadier Carsten Rasmussen looks forward to working in South Korea!
