South Korea to get New V100 Wind Turbines By Vestas

Vestas recently reported that it received an order from one of the largest conglomerates in Korea to install its first V100 wind turbines in the country.

While the buyer and details of the project remain confidential, Danny Nielsen, the Head of Vestas Pan-Asia, stated in a press release that the order is “firm and unconditional”.

According to Vestas, "South Korea is an increasingly attractive wind energy market as the country continues diversifying its energy mix to reduce its dependence on nuclear power and imported fossil fuels. We are able to help maximise the customer's return on investment by offering a competitive cost of energy".
