Embassy successfully hosts 'Greener Future with Smart Water Management workshop'

01.07.2020  07:29

The webinar, prepared as part of the Embassy’s green diplomacy activities, provided an opportunity to introduce Denmark’s water policy in conjunction with its green transition and to share cases of the digital transformation in water management through signature projects.

Following the warm welcome from Danish Ambassador H.E. Einar Jensen, presentations were given by Tanya Jacobsen, the Deputy Director of State of Green, and Miriam Feilberg, the Senior Advisor at the DANVA on Denmark’s green transition and Denmark's water policies.

Key speakers from the signature projects included Professor Michael Rasmussen from the University of Aalborg; Jung-woo Yang, the head of the Korean branch of Scalgo; and Klavs Høgh, the Project Director of NIRAS. Speakers shared concrete cases and ideas in smart water management.

The webinar ended with an invitation to the Korean audience to the IWA International Water Forum planned for May 2021 in Copenhagen, and with meetings with Korean counterparts and stakeholders for the Danish speakers.
