Innovation Centre Denmark Hosts Smart Solutions for Innovative Cities Conference

The conference, ‘Smart Solutions for Innovative Cities’ takes place September 10th (08.30-16:30) at Copenhagen Business School (CBS) in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen. Online registration is available until September 1st on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Innovation Centre at the Embassy of Denmark in Seoul is in charge of coordinating the first ever joint conference by the six Innovation Centres around the world. Maria Skou, the Head of the Innovation Centre Seoul, is thrilled.
“With the majority of people in the world now living in urban environments and with the Innovation Centre Denmark locations covering some of the important mega hubs of the world, we anticipate that the topics covered and networks created at the conference will be of importance for future collaborations.” 

The conference brings together the Danish Innovation Centres, research institutions, municipalities, and companies around the world to discuss and share knowledge about Smart Cities. Keynote speakers include Dr. Dae Yeon Cho, Ph.D (Director-General of the Construction R&D Department at the Korea Agency for Infrastructure Technology Advancement), Dr. Moon Hong Kim (Manager at the Emerging Technology R&D Center at 5G Technology Lab, SK Telecom), Bas Boorsma (Director of Internet of Everything at Northern Europe Cisco), architect and Assistant Professor Anders Hermund (Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts), and CEO Claus Kjeldsen (Copenhagen Institute for Future Studies).

The conference is hosted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Science, the Ministry Foreign Affairs, the International Federation for Housing and Planning (IFHP), and Copenhagen Business School (CBS). See more information including a detailed program and registration here.
