Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and the Danish Medicines Agency sign MoC

On November 13th, The Danish residence in Seoul served as the venue for the signing of a Memorandum of Confidentiality (MoC) between the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and the Danish Medicines Agency. With the Danish Ambassador in Korea, H.E. Einar Jensen, as the host, Minister Kim Ganglip and Director-general Dr. Thomas Senderovitz, signed the MoC, which will be used to further advance the partnership between Korea and Denmark, support information exchange, and to facilitate and increase access to safe, effective and high-quality medicinal products. The COVID-19 pandemic and its wide-reaching consequences, has highlighted the importance of international cooperation on research and development of new medicines and vaccines. As such the collaboration between the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and the Danish Medicines Agency is expected to contribute positively to future research and development of new medicines and medical devices.
