The Embassy of Denmark is offering an interesting student assistant opportunity in Innovation Centre Denmark Seoul. As a student assistant you will be supporting the team in assisting Danish companies, start-ups and universities to collaborate with Korean partners. You’ll have the opportunity to research about Korean tech and innovation ecosystems, assist in preparing meetings and seminars and support a number of projects and cases.
Focus and Responsibilities
Innovation Centre Denmark Seoul assists Danish universities, clusters and companies collaborating with South Korea within science and technology heavy sectors such as space and quantum, AI and robotics, biotech and cleantech. We match partners and facilitate collaboration proactively through a wide range of projects as well as individual company cases.
The student assistant will assist our team with support on projects and cases, including logistics, desk research, translation, presentation drafts etc.
Requirements
Applicants for the position should be enrolled in a university or a similar educational institute, and have a relevant educational and work background.
Applicants for the position must have a relevant educational background (business/ international relations communication etc.). The assistant should be outgoing, open-minded, disciplined, be able to work independently and think innovatively. The work pace is fast, changeable and requires a firm eye for detail. Strong English and Korean language skills are required.
Most importantly, you are expected to be a strong team player who is motivated by helping your colleagues towards great results. The position is an entry level position, but we welcome candidates who have ambitions to grow their responsibilities and role at the Embassy.
Working Conditions
Innovation Centre Denmark Seoul is looking to employ one full-time Student Assistant for the duration of 6 months.
- Duration: 6 months
- Working hours: Total 37.5 hours per week
- Compensation: Monthly allowance
- Holidays: 2 days of holiday per month (total 12 days)
- Preferred date of start: 1 July 2025
