I-Korea 4.0: Innovation Initiatives in Smart Cities and Healthcare

This Outlook by Innovation Centre Denmark Seoul is the second of a two-part series aimed at providing a brief but in-depth overview of South Korea’s present strong political focus on the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4iR), and to highlight implications across several sectors with a focus on education, research, entrepreneurship and innovation. The purpose of the Outlook series is to help Danish researchers and R&D intensive startups and SMEs identify potential South Korean collaboration opportunities in 4iR-related research and business areas with a special emphasis on smart cities and customised healthcare.

I-Korea 4.0: Moon Jae-In's Strategy to Bring South Korea into New Digital Era

This Outlook is the first of two in a 2018 series by Innovation Centre Denmark Seoul. The first Outlook aims to provide a brief but in depth overview of South Korea’s present strong political focus on the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4iR). The second Outlook intends to highlight implications across selected sectors focusing on education, research, entrepreneurship and innovation. Combined the Outlook series will assist Danish researchers and R&D intensive startups and SMEs to identify potential collaboration opportunities on 4iR related research and business areas i.e. policy, regulation, smart cities, renewable energy, big data, customised healthcare, drone and AI.

International Opportunities for Danish Arctic Researchers

In November 2016, the Ministry of Higher Education and Science published its ‘Strategy for Research and Education concerning the Arctic’ with a main objective of strengthening Denmark’s - and by extension - the Danish Realm’s research and education in and about the Arctic. The aim of this publication is to serve as an overview of the possible areas of mutual interest for Arctic research cooperation and an invitation to Danish researchers and other relevant stakeholders interested in strengthening their international relations and network within Arctic research.

Shift of Korean Start-Up Ecosystem: Corporate Involvement in Entrepreneurship
