Denmark-Korea host virtual bilateral summit

On May 24, the Embassy of Denmark co-hosted a side event to the 2021 P4G Seoul Summit titled, ‘Future Generation and Green Smart Schools’ held at Dongdaemun Design Plaza, Seoul.

The meeting was held on the first day of the 2021 P4G Seoul Summit. Both countries are active members of P4G (Partnering for Green Growth and Global Goals 2030) – Denmark having hosted the inaugural summit in 2018 and South Korea taking over the torch as host country in 2021. Both Heads of State underlined their commitment to working actively together to encourage countries, institutions, and the private sector to develop and promote tangible solutions to reach net-zero emission by 2050.

Furthermore, the leaders discussed the areas of health and life science, COVID-19 vaccines, renewable energy, and peace on the Koran Peninsula as further areas of deepened cooperation.
