Greenland and the fAROE iSLANDS
Greenland and the Faroe Islands have been a part of the Kingdom of Denmark since the 14th century.
Today, both Greenland and the Faroe Islands have self-government agreements with Denmark. The agreements transfer political competence and responsibility from the Danish political authorities to the Faroese and Greenlandic political authorities, while the Danish government retains responsibility for conducting foreign policy.
